On rail-style CNCs, your 4" dust hose has one job: get in the way. It droops, it pinches, and on machines like the Workbee and Lead CNC it gets caught between the Z-axis and the frame. This simple Z-axis mount keeps the hose controlled and out of trouble — permanently.

Works great on my 3/4” gal I sized boom arm and smooth solid rolling. It’s OD is nearly the same as the OD of 1” EMT conduit. It provide an excellent weighted swing arm via my use of a large heavier lock type caster unit. The pipe is tack welded in where the wheel was and out the back increased diameter shorter pipe is a perfect counter weight and stabizer. Being careful with correct pipe placement the locking mechanism will lock and release the swing boom arm.

easy to connect to the stepper motor, holds the vacuum hose pretty firmly but is easy to remove when needing to use it by hand. high quality product like everything else I've gotten from Mike's shop
