Cut specifically for the DeWalt DWS779 Type 22. The Type 22 table differs from the standard DWS779, so a generic insert won't sit flush — this one is machined to the Type 22 dimensions.
🔎 Is My Saw a Type 22?
Check the sticker on the back of your saw near the serial number. If it reads Type 22, this is your insert.
- Type 20 on the sticker → DWS779 Type 20 insert
- No Type number, or a different one → DWS779 standard insert
Not sure? Send us a photo of the sticker and we'll tell you which one you need. We'd rather spend 30 seconds on that than have you waiting on a return.
Why woodworkers upgrade to hardwood inserts:
- 🎯 Zero tearout — full blade support right to the cut edge; no more splintering on the underside
- 🪵 Real hardwood — stable, flat and durable; won't flex or warp like the factory plastic
- ✂️ Kerf cut on your saw — your blade cuts the slot, so the fit is exact to your setup
- ✍️ Optional custom engraving — add your name, shop name or a short line of text for $8
- 🔁 Made to order — fresh and flat when it arrives
Wood options:
🟤 Walnut — rich dark grain
🍒 Cherry — warm reddish-brown tone
🌿 Ash / Maple / Oak — tight grain, light color, extremely hard-wearing
Compatible saws: DeWalt DWS779 Type 22 · DHS790T2 · DHS790AT2 · DHS790AB
