Plastic throat plates chip and flex. Hardwood zero clearance inserts don't. This precision-fit drop-in replacement for the DeWalt DWE7485 closes the blade gap entirely, so every rip and crosscut is backed up right to the cut edge — cleaner results, less tearout, safer cuts.

Well made insert and great service
Nice looking, and perfect fit.

Great product, solid wood, coated, very happy with purchase.
The Miter throat middle holes did not line up, had to sand the side down to move it back further and make the holes wider in the middle two. Other than that great product so far!!!!
This is the stuff, don't even bother with those cheap MDF one that will sack after a few uses, which will make you impossible to do a good 90 degree rip cut and wasted your wood.
