Plastic throat plates tear up your workpiece. Hardwood zero clearance inserts don't. This drop-in replacement for the DeWalt DWE7491 closes the gap around your blade so the wood fibers are supported right to the cut edge — no tearout, no splintering, just clean rips every time.

I ordered one of these in cherry but I wanted another one but this time I wanted the one made out of walnut. The dark tone of the walnut is absolutely gorgeous. And as always the quality is top notch. I highly recommend this product.
High quality product. It is not an absolute perfect fit but it almost is. I had to do some very light sanding on each end with some 120 grit and 180 grit sandpaper. I highly recommend this product.
